SAGE HONEY explores a variety of genres with a consistent theme of hypnotic grooves, walls of layered sound and psychadelic soul. Multi-instrumentalist and producer, Gabe Morgenroth, takes an organic approach on this new project with an emphasis on analog recording and saturated tones. Strongly influenced by classic DUB recordings of the 70's/80's, Gabe incorporates this approach into all of the SAGE HONEY compositions. Heavy delay and dense reverb give a surreal atmosphere with the intention of taking the listener on a sonic and spiritual journey. Combining this approach with fluid and effusive guitar melodies, SAGE HONEY creates a unique and powerful sonic palette of psychadelic instrumentals.
